Past Events

Art Museum Basel

Fermentation workshop for kids and their parents as part of the museum’s family day for 60 people in total. The parents learned about the fermentation technique while the kids got introduced into the magical world of microbes. Each participant took home a jar of vegetables to ferment at home.

Fermentista Festival

Organisation of Switzerland’s first festival for fermented foods. The event was visited by several hundred people from Switzerland, Germany and Italy.

Festival Podium Discussion

90 minutes podium discussion by Fran, Darren and Matteo Leoni (PureTaste) about the future of fermentation in gastronomy at the Fermentista Festival 2021 in Zurich (Switzerland).

Workshop: Cooking With Fermented Foods

A 6-hour workshop where the students learn how to incorporate fermented foods into innovative plant-based dishes. First edition on October 31st, 2021 at AtelierFoif in Winterthur (Switzerland).
